Alongside our culinary passion, we also love spending time with children. In these days of lacking sports and movement and fast food, healthy diets and high-quality ingredients are ever more important. As such, we regularly organise courses for children and youngsters. It gives them the chance to get their hands dirty in the kitchen and at the same time experience more about food and where it comes from in a playful way. Together, we take a look behind the scenes – in the kitchen, when buying our food and at the local producers. In addition to our events in our country home, we regularly visit schools and we work, amongst others, with the ‘Institute for quality development in schools in Schleswig-Holstein’ and with the German child protection agency. As a training centre for budding culinary youngsters, we believe it’s our responsibility to pass on our experience and knowledge to young people. We’ve been doing so since 1984.
